So what now?

On a run recently, Steve and were following a rural road. We came to an intersection with a "Dead End Road" sign. But then we looked across the intersection and saw this sign. And dang! we had just come up a good sized hill to get to this point - all for nothing!
While smiling at the typical New Hampshire mindset that put this sign here, ( which is basically "go away and leave us alone" ) the analogy to life was not lost on me.
So, here's the thought for the day, in case you're facing some dead end roads of your own.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't depend on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3: 5,6
Further thoughts in song: Who Am I?
Happy path-finding!

This painting includes a beautiful bowl handmade by a friend James Mitchmeyer. He's studied in Japan, and you can see the influence in the delicate brushwork and that little red circle.
It's much cooler looking in real life of course. I like painting things that are just neat to start with!
