Short Painting Demo



Here is a short little demo I put together, starting with this initial block in, to the final painting.  This was about 6 hours worth of painting time (not counting cookie breaks).

Beautiful painting - nice work DEB! Great video - would suggest the words stay up longer - I could not get it all read B4 it faded out. Maybe I'm just a slow reader. Very nice work.

I haven't been able to figure out how to change that yet! This was a "trial" run using the software, so I'm still learning it..

This is another demo I need to watch a few times more; how large is the painting? I notice your actual background was not the color you painted- I do that too, but then I get really mixed up about what color I should paint!
I like that you re-work areas, yet don't make them look reworked; I still need to learn that.
Do you use your flat sables from the very beginning? The pesky kid in the back of the classroom wants to know!
