Reality Check!!! This is the same pasture as yesterday's painting, but in "spring thaw" mode.
Even this is a bit of a stretch.. there's not anywhere near that much ground showing yet. But, with all the rain we're supposed to get this weekend, maybe some earth will begin to poke through the snow soon! I can't wait!

More Green today! I want to feel that summer sun!
This little view of a fallow field in summer makes me warm. And I'm thinking of doing a larger work based on this little study. But first I have to finish several others that are in process.

Today, I decided to do two little miniatures. It's about time for spring lambs, and though our pastures won't look nearly this green this time of year, I personally needed to see some green, even if I have to create it on canvas. Everyone I know is READY FOR WINTER TO BE OVER!
So, top is "Staying Close" and bottom image is "Watchful". Enjoy!

"Guacamole in the Larval Stage"
You've probably noticed I haven't been posting this last week... just very busy working on some other projects.
I'm still in the middle of it, but decided to take a short break and try to get a daily painting completed. I needed it to be something simple, and my friend Ramona suggested this avocado.
So that's exactly what I did. And, best part, I had some fabulous guacamole when it was all done.
yummmm..

Come on Over!

This is the invitation to an exhibit that is coming soon.
I'm putting this notice up here for some email groups that I belong to that don't allow attachments. Anybody in the area, please come and pay us a visit. Join us for some free food and wine at the opening! I believe if you click on the image, you can get an enlarged view, so you can read dates and times, etc.
If any of my NH Plein Aire painters are able to come, please come and introduce yourselves- I would love to meet you!

Now, back to painting, as I still am working to finish a few things for this show!
